Paint & Sip
Dates: April 23rd, 30th, May 7th and 14th on Tuesdays from 7-9pm
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out on your artistic journey, I invite you to join us to celebrate the soothing act of painting while sipping on your ideal beverage of choice. This is a great way to stir your creative side while also enjoying each other’s company and taking a much-needed break from the demands of everyday life. We’ll be getting together on Tuesdays at 7pm. Portrait & Figure Painting Portrait Connections Program
Dates: Saturdays, April 13th to May 25th from 10am to 12pm
The class provides a foundation in observation-based figure and portrait painting in the style of classical realism. We will cover the anatomy of human face, and figure in costume, and learn about gesture, value and proportion. Classes will include a combination of demonstration, step-by-step direction, and discussion/art appreciation. Additionally, we will visit residents at Thomas Circle Assisted Living Facility in Washington, D.C. as part of our community outreach program, Portrait Connections.
Class Package: 2 hours, 7 sessions

Basic Drawing for Young People (Ages 9-12) at the Art League School
Dates: Sundays, April 7th to May 26th from 1:30pm - 3:30 pm
Class Package: 2 hours, 8 sessions
Price: $220 (Basic drawing materials required. The supplies and supply lists can be obtained at The Art League Store in the Torpedo Factory Room 217 between 11am and 5pm).

Light of Italy: Plein-Air Painting Travel Workshop
Dates: June 15th to June 22nd
Join Susan O'Neill and Stephanie Chang for an exhilarating immersion into the color and rhythms of the Italian landscape. Our workshop will provide step-by-step instruction from observed color theory to a plein air exploration of this unique Italian countryside.
